Hey all - The Daily Dose is out until Jan. 3.
You'll miss me.
Yes. You will.

Anyway - I'll leave you with this: The recruiting process for West Aurora star Juwan Starks is heating up. The junior wingman is stronger this year and his handle has continued to improve - which is important because he hasn't grown much (still 6-4).
His left hand is getting better and there aren't many better pure jump shooters around - even though he still has that funky delivery.
Starks is a quintessential Blackhawks star - unselfish, willing to lock up on D and forego his own offensive oppotunities to stay within the offense.
All that is leading to increased interest, and Starks (the nephew of former East Aurora and Cincinnati/Oklahoma star Aaron McGhee) is speaking highly of a few schools:
In no particular order:
* St. Louis University, which is coached by Rick Majerus and has a great recruiting pipeline in the west 'burbs in associate head coach Porter Moser - a Benet Academy alumnus.
* University of Minnesota, which is coached by Tubby Smith and is a top 25 program at this point. The Gophers have been on Starks since his freshman year.
* University at Albany (New York), which is coached by Will Brown, and has recently made inroads in the Chicago area when it landed Morgan Park guard Jimmie Covington.
