Daily Dose: May 31 - Geneva basketball making waves

It's not basketball season, but some big news came out of the Geneva girls basketball program today.

Athletic director Jim Kafer announced the hiring of longtime sophomore coach Sarah Meadows as the new varsity head coach, and then the family of junior Ashley Santos announced that the 86th rated player in the country (for the class of 2012) verbally committed to Marquette University.
