"Hi Sgt Ness, I was going over some older questions on the SuburbanChicagonews.com website about vehicle tint on cars and I was trying to comprehend some things about it. So if my comprehension serves me right, the front window and 2 driver side windows cannot have tint on them, correct? But the rear window as well as the 2 backseat windows can have tint on them? Now is there a limit to how dark the tint can be on these 3 windows? Is there a tint that is too dark or is any tint okay?
Thanks,"
You are correct, the rear windows may have tint. There is no limitation to this other than the tint must be non-reflective. (It cannot have a mirrorlike appearance) The only other requirement is that if your rear windows are tinted, you must have a rear view mirror mounted on each side of your car (most already do).
