"I believed you addressed this problem in the past, I am re-asking the question incase the law has changed, I live in Wisconsin and own a 2006 F-150 the back doors have darken windows and I would like to darken the 2 front doors. The way I understand Wisconsin is legal but Illinois is not, my question is if I darken the 2 front door glass I can drive in Illinois as long as my vehicle is registered in Wisconsin, is this still true?" Thanks, Ken

As a courtesy, vehicles registered in states with laws that allow front tinted windows are able to drive within Illinois. If the vehicle is required to be registered in Illinois, it must follow Illinois laws.
