Teen Alcohol Violations

"I know of some teenagers in the Joliet/Shorewood area that seem to have constant access to alcohol and drugs whenever they go out and I am wondering if there is a way to have the police follow or track these people and get them arrested without first conducting a 6 month investigation. The kids that are just “trying the stuff seem to be getting hooked because it is so readily available. I don’t want to see a user or innocent victim get hurt or killed because of doing something so stupid. Any advice?"

You should contact your local Police Department (Shorewood or Joliet) and ask to speak with someone in investigations who could follow up on your information. The Police department's goal is the same as yours, to stop the problem before it happens or gets worse. You can also call the Illinois State Police Zone 3 Investigations office at (815) 726-6377 and press 3 at the prompt. Let me know if you need anything further, and Thanks for writing.
