i got pulled over for tinted windows in my babydaddy car. but i got the ticket, he was in the car with me. so should he pay for the ticket or me see i never got in trouble with the law before. he said that he was going to pay for the ticket, i went out of town and came back me lience was suspended because i missed court which i didn't know that i had to go to court. so i need someone to tell what i need to do cause i was pregnant at that time

While the owner of the car may ultimately be responsible for it's condition, the law holds the driver as the person who can be ticketed for violations, moving or equipment. I would encourage you to contact the State's Attorney's office and see what can be done about the situation as it currently is. The best practice for a person to follow when you are issued a ticket is to make sure it is taken care of yourself. If you had gone to court and explained the situation to the Judge, at least something could have been worked out. Since the ticket was issued to you, it is up to you to clear the situation up. If the owner of the car intended to take care of paying for the citation, maybe an arrangement can still be made for him to do so, but this will be up to the State's Attorney's office and the court.
