Illegal Transportation of Alcoholic Liquor citation

| | Comments (0) | TrackBacks (0)

Hello, I recently received an illegal transportation of alcohol ticket. The alcohol was from a friend of mine which I didn't realize was in my car. But anyway now I forgot to go to court to pay mine fine and now I received a letter from the state saying that I'm getting my license suspended for a year. Now is there anyway I can get out of losing my license? Thanks.

Matt,
Your best course of action is to contact the State's Attorney's office in the county where the citation was written. (or city attorney's office if it is an ordinance ticket). They should be able to re-set a court date for you. Hope that is helpful.
Randy
