Kathy survives another week, but probably only because she had the immunity idol.
The fans lose the challenge, mostly due to Chet's incredibly lackadaisical saunter through it (dude, I can swim faster, and I can't swim).
Mikey and Joel each strategize to control the tribal council vote.

The favorites come back from the first tribal council saying they feel they can win any challenges, even though they had just lost.
The fans came back winners, but they do not have a shelter yet. And even though they won flint, which is supposed to be automatic fire, they can't make it work.
Kathy gets yelled at for complaining. Tracy and Chet are lumped in with Kathy, and they are shunned for not doing enough work. They build their own lean-to.
In the favorites camp, Amanda and Ozzy's mutual attraction is becoming more obvious and harder to fight. James and Pavarti are already seen as a couple.
Because the teams are uneven, the fans have to pick someone to sit out the challenge. Several people immediately say "Kathy?" She is not popular.
Amanda's breast came out during the challenge (it was blurred). The favorites won fishing gear and a boat, and the right to send one fan to Exile Island for the night. They pick Kathy. The favorites have to pick one of their own too, so they pick Cirie. There is a hidden immunity idol on the island. Kathy and Cirie work well together, but they are having trouble finding the idol. Kathy did not find it.
Joel and Mikey each try to get the fans to go his way. Joel wants to separate Mikey and Mary, thinking that will confuse Mikey and make him weaker.
At tribal council, a few people pile on Chet, but Mary is voted off. Joel smiles and Mikey mouths "why?" Jeff congratulates them for blindsiding her.
Next week, Joel threatens to kill anyone who invades his home. Dude!
