Malakal finally wins a challenge.
Jason and Tracy go to Exile Island, but you don't see much of it, because Kathy has decided to leave the game.
The full recap, including the person voted off, is below.
At Malakal, Ozzy and Tracy complain about each other. At Airai, James complains that the women are griping too much, especially considering they are on "Survivor." I'm with him.
Back at Malakal, Erik is discussing his man-crush on Ozzy. Cirie makes fun of it, saying they are "like 'The Lion King.'" Hee.
For the reward challenge, they are using Micronesian "money stones," which are hooked up to long poles, and Jeff says was once the Micronesian currency. Four team members are blindfolded and the other members have to help them navigate through an obstacle course, crushing tiles revealing more money stones along the way. The eight smaller stones form a puzzle. They are playing for a shower with soap and shampoo! James gets the most excited about this.
Cirie loses her sense of direction constantly while directing her tribe. Malakal finally wins a challenge. They are VERY excited.
Jason and Tracy go to Exile Island. I swear she is a lot more disappointed to miss the shower than food.
At the spa island, Erik yells "Cookies!" and Ozzy talks about how happy he was Erik was excited.
Later it rains and Kathy points out that the rain goes on for much longer in real life than on TV and how you feel like an animal eating raw, sandy clams. She says "this is the stupidest thing I have ever done in my life." In the Airai cave, bats and rats run all over near the survivors.
The next morning she breaks down sobbing and asks James for a hug. She talks about how she misses her family and she can't "feel" them. She says she can't take it "one more minute!" I know she should have known what she was getting herself into, but it's impossible not to feel sorry for her. She says she's quitting.
Jeff comes to see her and tries to figure what is wrong. She says she is doing it for everyone else. She doesn't want to let anyone down, but she decides to leave.
James says she's lost most of her motivation, so why continue? How long will it take them to start rejoicing? They never seemed to like her. The next scene they are all over it. But I will miss you, Kathy! You did something I could never do.
The next day, Cirie talks about how arrogant Ozzy is. She tells Ami and Amanda that getting rid of Erik is the best thing to do.
At the immunity challenge, Airai learns that Kathy quit. Cirie is shocked. For the challenge, a tribe member races to a watery platform with a rope. The member attaches the rope to a puzzle piece and ride it back to shore, while the other members crank a giant pulley. When all pieces are at shore, the tribes build the square-shaped puzzle. It's a very long challenge. Airai wins the challenge.
Back at Malakal, Ami schemes to vote Ozzy off. People seem to really be sweating this one.
At Tribal Council, Tracy says Ozzy is the leader of the tribe, and he denies it (oh come on!). Cirie says Ozzy is definitely the leader. But no worries, Erik is there to defend him.
Tracy is voted off. Guess Ozzy talked them into it. I was cringing when he didn't play the idol! Jeff points they simply have to start winning challenges.
